In today's society where music social media video games and television characters act as modern-day role models for young minds there's a desperate need for a healthy balance. We live in a world where both consciously and unconsciously there has been the perspective enforced on young minds that the color of one's skin should determine their fate and future. We live in a time where it's expected that the negative or pessimistic depiction of life for a certain group of people should be the reality for all. I want to shift that dynamic and affirm you today just like the little boy in this book. I want to let you know that you are smart you are courageous your barriers don't define you and a positive mindset can shift your whole world.
