Bringing university and society closer together

The book presents works that deal with the issue of scientific dissemination carried out by universities especially higher education institutions in Brazil which are in this country the largest producers of scientific research. The question of the need to bring science and society closer together is seen from two the benefits for society and above all the benefits for institutions addressing concepts such as knowledge-power always bearing in mind that it is the role of the media to bring this closer together using the appropriate discourse. The book includes three articles and analyses of texts published by an important Brazilian university.
