Broadband Circularly Polarized Fractal Boundary Microstrip Antennas

About The Book

In this book four different RIS based broad band fractal boundary circularly polarized microstrip antennas are presented. The RIS mechanism is successfully applied for the first time to the fractal boundary antennas for impedance matching over a broad bandwidth. It is established that the proposed antennas provide good circular polarization with 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth in the order of 7.45 % and impedance bandwidth up to 50.35 % besides occupying less space. To validate the simulation results Koch antennas are fabricated and evaluated.
