Because Billy is poor and a <em>coyote </em>- half white half Mexican - her father Edwin spurs Billy. But Edwin's son Darcy hires the ruthless Pinkerton Agency to throw a wrench in those wheels and Billy is sentenced to death by a kangaroo court. </p><p></p><p>On the night before Billy is set to hang Jude breaks him out of a jail and they set off on a cross country journey dodging the law the Ku Klux Klan and taking dead aim at the Pinkertons who turned their whole lives upside down. Along the way the brothers' rugged bond will also be tested by their own demons...when they need each other most. </p>
