<p>In the seventies bicycles had become the most favourite mean of transport in the villages. The current generation may not be able to digest the fact that the cycles had so much impact in everyones daily life. Houses without atleast one bicycle was very rare. In villages everyone used bicycles for most of their daily commute whether it was for the office travel or an outing with their families. At a time when the private motor vehicles were not so common everyonelove the bicycles. People used to ride it irrespective of their social status or age differences. The writer is narrating many experiences from those days through the eyes of a small village boy. </p>
