Building Capacity of TVET Teachers in Sudan

Since education is considered the key to effective development strategies technical and vocational education and training (TVET) must be the master key that can alleviate poverty promote peace conserve the environment improve the quality of life for all and help achieve sustainable development. (TVET) has an important role in preparing young people for the jobs of tomorrow. A country cannot achieve economic and social development without a skilled productive labor force that can meet the changing requirements of its environment. To reach the previous demands there is a necessity to equip TVET teachers with technical skills and practical work experience pedagogical knowledge skills and ICT to facing the rapid challenges of the technological demands of world of work. This book therefore provides a new training approach for TVET teachers in Sudan depends on effective partnership between the private sector the government and TVET institutions based on three levels the macro meso and micro. The book should be especially useful to education policy makers TVET institutions universities labor market or anyone else who may be considering the innovations in the field of TVET.
