This Book Tells A Story Of An Abandoned Female Dog Which Is Adopted By A Nine-Year Old Tomboy Jessica. Why She Named The Dog Bullette Is A Story In Itself. Bullette Has Adventures With Many Of The Animals That Live In Their Woods Including Snakes Possums Bats Woodchucks And Bees. In The House Bullette Encounters Jessica'S Caged Guinea Pig And Her Mom'S Burnt Cookies And Frozen Turkey. Jessica And Maria Jessica'S Best Friend Play Softball On A Team Coached By Jessica'S Dad. They Also Go On Family Picnics Where They Play Catch And Toss A Frisbee Which Bullette Likes To Disrupt. On One Picnic Bullette Gets Deathly Ill But Is Saved By The Quick Thinking Of Jessica'S Dad.
