Burdens to Bury

<p><strong>In a small college town in northern Alberta there can be burdens to bury.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>What are the chances: two missing persons in a single day. And evidence of foul play - at least in one case...</p><p>Corporal Freta Osprey of the RCMP finds herself assigned to Roberta LeBlanc a senior detective in the Major Crimes Division brought in from Edmonton to oversee the investigations. Freta and her colleague Corporal Rob Rainy form the LeBlanc Team.</p><p>A question arises: Does the sudden disappearance of a local real estate mogul have anything to do with a vanished college student who presumably wandered off during a bush party? Improbable but the two cases keep intersecting...</p><p>Meanwhile Freta unofficially enlists the sleuthing skills of Myron Tarasyn history professor and her significant other. Myron was instrumental in solving a previous case albeit within the confines of academia.</p><p>Happy to help Myron encounters more than he bargained for from a decidedly anti-police religious leader and his odd son to an unnerving female student who inexplicably shows up wherever he goes!</p><p>There's more than one game afoot and the trick is not only to unearth who did what to whom but to discover where the bodies are buried.</p>
