There becomes a latent knowing shared with only a few. The pull towards serenity becomes stronger and stronger and the noise of the world blurs away as you regain a visual on some inner version of you - the hopeful child - that becomes irresistible. It becomes harder to return to normality but the smile has settled into your being and you know where you belong; and that is enough.
