Business process automation

The introduction of new technologies has impacted many organisations around the world. Business automation is nowadays applied to any sectors with the intent of streamline old processes reducing costs and improving efficiency. This work explores the possibilities and challenges of process automation by using a real life case example in the automotive industry. The author experienced first-hand the performance analysis of two semi-automated supply chains trying to merge in one single organisation.
