<p><em>But Let's Not Be Maudlin </em>by Joanne Mellin is a collection of 41 free verse poems written from 2001 to 2017 with drawings by the author. The book is divided into five sections each with a theme as follows:</p><p>1-Chilhood 2-Anxiety 3-Life 4-Addiction and Recovery 5-Old Age. Some of the poems may belong to more than one category--such is life.</p><p>Joanne's poetry is autobiographical with poetic license taken in some instances with dates sequence of events and some names have been changed to protect privacy.</p>
