Butter-Making Day

<p><em> Butter-Making Day</em> is about a young girl named Susan and her family on their 1950s farm in Atchison County Kansas. Just like today farming then was a lifestyle that required a lot of work and dedication.</p><p>   Susan loved her life on the farm. In addition to working the land her family raised cattle and chickens. Life wasn't easy but they all worked together to prosper the best they could. Because of the process butter-making day was a special event on the farm and the entire family participated. <em>Butter-Making Day</em> is a how-to book that shows the process of making butter from milking the cow to eating the finished product. As a special bonus a simple recipe for making your own butter is included. It is easy and fun for all ages!  </p>
