Bwa Difé (Firewood!)

This is a second volume of collected poems covering 1985 to 2020. Bwa Dife is a tough poem asking no sympathy and suggesting that all truths even the unpalatable must be told. My main pleasure in the collection is in the voice and rhythm of the St Lucian Creole the acceptance and elevation of a language that in its structure and expression carries the stories of the people.
