Cafeteria Poetry

<p>The book title “Cafeteria Poetry” was chosen because all of this material was<br />written in a local cafeteria. Many of the poems in this volume were first written<br />when Linwood was a ninth grader attending Southern Nash Senior High School in<br />Baily North Carolina. The original drafts were lost over the years but the contents<br />remained with Linwood forever. They were simply recreated for this book. Each<br />poem is an original and full of wisdom and curiosity. Some are simply funny but<br />always thought provoking. Linwood’s hope is that everyone will find something in<br />this first book that strikes a chord for them.</p>
