Call HO

Based on real-life experience in teaching hospitals Call HO is a novel that explores the excitement brutality and horror of surgical training in the United States. Four surgical interns struggle to deliver the best health care possible while navigating a minefield of incompetent superiors belligerent patients and stifling bureaucracy. Nothing they learned in medical school has prepared them for the difficult choices they must now make. Despite grueling hours and impossible situations intense bonds are formed and the interns discover what it truly means to be human. Ultimately they learn that they must break the rules to do the right thing.
