About The Book

The aim of this work is to present Candomblé in its ethnological sense the most well-known nations the deities in each nation commonly called orixás and to present these deities through the most popular nation presented to society: the Ketu nation. After explaining the main nations the aim is to give a brief presentation of each one showing how their deities are worshipped and to illustrate these deities in each nation drawing a profile between the deities and the adepts initiated into Candomblé. The aim is to show that Candomblé a rite brought by slaves from Africa during the colonial period but initiated in our own lands has aroused fascination in various segments of society.
