Canopies of Gandhinagar

The capital of the state of Gujarat in India. Gandhinagar is located approximately 23 km north of Ahmedabad on the west-central point of the Industrial corridor between Delhi the political capital of India and Mumbai the financial capital of India. I have reported 173 tree species from various areas like sectors different government gardens ayurvedic udhyan vanchetna kendra indroda park and some reserve forest areas of the city. This book accordingly gives common/local names origin distribution in Gujarat medicinal and other uses flowering-fruiting phenology of some of the unique trees of Gujarat together with colored photographs. It aims to be of service to those who wish to learn not only the names of these unique trees but also something about their origin phenology and uses. I am also thankful to Forest Force for encouraging us for this work. It is Beneficial to undergraduate postgraduate and research scholars.
