<p>The calamity that was onset of WW1 split the workers' movement around the world. On the one hand there were social-democrats or reformists that supported their countries' war efforts. On the other anti-imperialists fighting against the mass slaughter of working class people. I</p><p>n Germany the immense and influential Social-Democratic Party threw its weight entirely behind German militarism cooperating with the Kaiser in the barbarism and serving up the working class they represented to the death march. Only a tiny minority of committed revolutionaries were willing and politically able to stand up against this treachery. </p><p></p><p>This compilation includes writings from the two most important antiwar figures Rosa Luxemburg with her Junius Pamphlet and Karl Liebknecht with his Militarism and Anti-Militarism. </p><p></p><p>In today's world of genocidal war and escalating geopolitical tensions between major powers these political lessons are incredibly relevant.</p>
