James S. (“Jim”) Munn Wrote Case For The Conservative In 1962 At The Age Of 39. Jim Served In The U.S. Army Air Force As A B-17 Pilot During Wwii Flying Bombing Missions With The 8Th Air Force Over Germany. He Was Shot Down In 1944 And Remained A German P.O.W. For Eighteen Months. He Continued His Military Service In Korea As An Intelligence Officer Until 1953. Jim Would Retire From The Air Force In 1973 As A Lt. Colonel Having Earned The Purple Heart And Bronze Star.
