Case Studies in Literary Cultural and Audiovisual Translation

This book consists of five chapters focusing on the case studies in literary cultural and audiovisual translation. Chapter 1 deals with the English translation of the “Tian wen” (天问) in the Chu ci (楚辞) from the perspective of image-G actualization. Chapter 2 makes a comparative study of the translations of the “Li sao” (离骚) in the Chu ci based on the principle of three-dimensional transformations in Eco-translatology. Chapter 3 explores museum exhibit signs translation from the perspective of Eco-translatology making a case study of Jingzhou Museum. Chapters 4 and 5 respectively make a study of the subtitle translation of The Conjuring and Empresses in the Palace from the perspective of Eco-translatology.
