Brady Lane a forty- five-year-old year old retired civilian special agent with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID) returns to active service on a short-term contract. His request by the CID Commanding General is to investigate the murder of a CID agent Stewart Walker a close friend of Brady's. Widower Brady and his second wife Julie relocates to Germany where Brady commences the process of finding the murderer of his friend. The suspected murder and leader of a drug cartel Albert Briggs is on the loose in Germany and the Benelux area (Netherlands and Belgium).
