<p>Magnate's Clearing was intended as a haven but at the helm the cruel king set on murder. Basilia Eldnic fears his bloodlust will ruin the wedding to her fiancé Ragnar Vernentide.</p><p>Ragnar will do anything for Basilia including high treason. But just as he finalises his plot Ragnar is executed.</p><p>Basilia has nothing left to lose. Despite her best friend's pleas she mounts her stead and heads towards the castle to avenge Ragnar.
