The Sudanese Nubian goats breedthe most numerous and widely distributed especially in the urban and riverside areas.Alsoit is recognized as a dual purpose.Due to the increasing demand on meat supplysome populations have changed their eating habits to consume more goat meat.Male goat kids that are not being kept as future flock sires are usually castrated and thereforethey are not of high quality and culled as a meat source.The biochemical traits of the domestic animals have been investigated by various workershoweverrelatively few studies have been carried out on the indigenous goat breeds of Sudanwhich require more investigations.This bookthereforesheds the light on the effect of castration on the most blood metabolitesfeedlots performance and the correlation between them.The end result of the study showed that castration does affect the meat quality by affecting its characteristics despite of a few differences that were shown in the blood metabolites.This work should be especially useful to studentsresearchersbreed producers and professional in the field of animal production besides anyone else who may be considering interesting in goat meat production.
