Cattle of the Sun

England's society has broken down and a neo-feudal order has emerged in parts of the country. Fritzie Sandalwood is chief among the new lords. His aim is to conserve old values in his redoubt - the rebuilt Dunstanburgh Castle on the Northumbrian coast. Owain Marr a composer and old friend is a reluctant Odysseus to Sandalwood's Agamemnon. One night Owain is attacked and thrown over a cliff. Deep in coma in hospital he experiences his odyssey which culminates in a terrifying test. CATTLE OF THE SUN is a fable for our time.
