Cattle Ranching in Brazil

Cattle farming was once the main activity in many Brazilian states when it occupied the most prime land available. However with the appreciation of land combined with the technological and productive development of agribusiness what we see today is the marginalisation of cattle farming which has been displaced to new frontiers while at the same time being challenged to remain a competitive activity in the face of the other options that Brazilian agribusiness makes possible.
