The writer Maya Angelou once said Success is loving life and daring to live it.That principle was certainly followed by Barry Privett and this autobiographical book is a written celebration of his full and varied life. Now 72 Barry reflects on a life well lived from his childhood to the present day.After leaving school Barry got a job with the Inland Revenue as a tax officer. But while he crunched numbers by day his real passion was music and spent his evenings playing in a band something he would continue to do with various musical groups throughout his life.Barry quickly realised that his heart didnt lie in working with taxes and embracing his natural entrepreneurial spirit he set up a residential care home for older people.
