About the Book: It is a book of interesting themes from the Sacred Scripture expressed in poetry. The poems refer to a variety of topics presented in different sections. These deal with the Lords teachings important events that have occurred and influenced humanity prominent Biblical personalities who have contributed in various ways to further Gods plan for mans existence the Passion and death of Jesus virtues and qualities God expects human beings to cultivate the meaning and purpose of life and a variety of such topics. Many people make it a point to read some verses from the Holy Bible every day Reading them in poetic form could add interest and enjoyment. About the Author: Joe Anthony had been a teacher of English in reputed schools in Kolkata Chandigarh and New Delhi in India and in Senior Secondary Schools in the Ministry of Education in Muscat the Sultanate of Oman. After 40 years of teaching he retired and now lives with his family in Gurgaon Haryana India. He employs his time in creative writing especially poetry for his personal satisfaction and for the inspiration of others.
