In N'Djamena the use of mobile telephony has positive impacts on the functioning of consumer goods and services markets. The interviews conducted show that mobile telephony allows for a reduction in costs and access to a greater number of markets for businesses which leads to harmonization and a reduction in prices that is often favorable to consumers. Cell phones improve consumer and business access to information allowing markets to become more efficient.This study reveals that the arrival of the cell phone and especially its access at all levels has favored the explosion of uses and the social appropriation of this communication device by business managers in N'Djamena. In addition the offer of cell phone operators has led to the emergence of commercial activities that are revitalizing certain sectors of society such as women's trade (Kiyindou et al 2015).
