It is a living entity that functions autonomously while remaining coordinated with others.-Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system both in terms of its structure and function from the molecular level to the level of organs such as the brain or even the entire organism. - In this book we focus on the cellular and molecular bases that govern the human body including the nervous system.
