They were a collection of tribes and chiefdoms controlled by a hierarchy of barbarian leadership. In this sense barbarian represents a group of people not belonging to any of the major Western civilizations: The Romans Greeks or Christians.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(98 100 106 1)>The original Celts were an Iron Age group called Druids and they were known for initiating the holidays we now know as Halloween and Christmas. They were a powerful religious sect and a warring collection of tribes. Their central location was what is now modern-day Britain-England specifically.
