About The Book

Centipede Dragon is a magical half-this half-that creature that was based on a batik indigo-dyed textile design created by the Miao (Hmong) ethnic group of China. A farming community the Miao (Hmong) decorated their textiles with symbols to bring them luck in the harvest season. Both the centipede and the dragon are two lucky symbols and so often the designs incorporated a hybrid of two symbols into one double lucky symbol. In this third book of a series set in a village nestled by lake and mountains a busy mother of nine goes missing! Centipede Dragon Ben Ariel and a new friend who has recently moved back to the village named Kai work together to find her before her rambunctious offspring tear everything in the village apart. The friends seek to answer the question: who or what is behind it all? Could it be a rascally character of mischievous nature from a previous book in the series?
