About The Book

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 466 000 new cases of Cervical Cancer are diagnosed each year and 431 000 women die from this oncopathy. A quasi-experimental research was conducted to modify risk factors for cervical cancer from October 2019- March 2022. A sample of 67 women aged 25 to 60 years from Medical Clinic 8 was selected from 207 women by simple random sampling. The intervention went through four stages: diagnosis design intervention and evaluation. The educational program is composed of five interrelated actions. Its evaluation by topics allowed the collection of information on knowledge about cervical cancer before and after the intervention.
