Chanakya Neeti

Vishnu Gupta popularly known as Chanakya was a scholar in Economics and Political Science who taught as a professor in Takshashila University. He was the chief advisor to the King Chandragupta Maurya and played a crucial role in the establishment of the Mauryan empire. The book written by him comprises of Neetis and Sutras. While the Neetis aim at the cultivation of virtues and wisdom the Sutras contain the rules for enterprise and life management. These words of wisdom enlighten people to lead a quintessential life. Though originally meant to guide the Mauryan king to rule his kingdom wisely but these words hold no lesser relevance in even today's time.
