Change Study of Mangroves using Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics

Mangroves are various kinds of trees up to medium height and shrubs that grow in saline coastal sediment habitats in the tropics and subtropics.Remote Sensing plays a major role in Mangroves change study nowadays. Main objective of this study is Change Detection; idea behind it is to extract change information through two imageries. Mangrove change detection study gives information about each & every aspect of Environment & Remote sensing. Through which we can conclude about particular mangrove ecosystem its rehabilitation restoration & status about potential areas with its biotic interferences. Ecological & Economic Values of Mangroves can be carried out by this type of study. There are some major factors which are controlling mangroves development. Likewise Climate Salinity Tidal fluctuations soil & wind velocity & other biological factors.
