<p>Life on the road as a pro ballplayer for Wes Martin isn't without its drawbacks. Now without a team to play for he is headed back home to Chandler the small town where he grew up and is a local hero. He can focus on his daughter Izzy and get his life straightened out perhaps even filling the void he has felt since Izzy's mom left years ago.</p><p>A chance meeting with the new town librarian Kristin Arthur quickly begins to lead to something more than Wes or Kristin was prepared for.
