The gentle chunky ticks and tocks<br>As two clocks lilt in opposing grooves<br>The sound of laughter from the next room<br>The amphibious amphitheater down below<br>Sends an evening serenade wafting<br>Through my window<br>These are the sounds that soothe<br><br>What in reality was a steady progression over time felt like the span of anineties sitcom episode. One day as eyeglasses sat on Timothy Samuel's nosethey literally changed his perspective while simultaneously growing a newyearning to see beyond the surface. Somewhere in the blur of graduationsweddings and a pandemic each of these events while starkly different innature prompted reflection.<br><br>In a collection of poems Timothy explores a multitude of topics about feelingsand experiences through mindful lenses that include seeing and appreciatingthe people around him the beauty of nature and himself as he looks in themirror and sees a different man.
