This book based on the author's international experiences advising governments businesses and civil society highlights the limitations of current approaches and proposes a more holistic approach that better matches social demands economic incentives and governance mechanisms in a way that responds more effectively and realistically to the challenge of moving away from policies aimed at controlling emissions-generating investment requirements to more people-centered approaches that respond to their legitimate concerns about energy security affordability and sustainability.
