Channels of Grace

<p>I don't know about you but in the past I have gotten to points where I've said you know what? I can't do this anymore. I'm done! If you've gotten to this point before know that this is a cry for more grace! Paul said Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake. For when I am weak then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:10). Paul acknowledged while at his wit's end that he needed grace.</p><p><br></p><p>That is why the Bible says that the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are poor in spirit. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3). The poor in spirit are those who allow themselves to be brought to the point of weakness where they acknowledge that while they might have some strength compared to God they have nothing. We must constantly be in that state of mind. The grace of God would never empower a strong person. It is only made available to those who are weak.</p>
