Chants of Realism

<p>A sequence to the previously published anthology &lsquo;Purple Blossom&rdquo; 2017 &lsquo;Chants of Realism&rsquo; is a collection of poems that are harvested from the silk of Life. The silk which is expertly woven by humankind to clothe our starkness.</p><p>The poems sequenced alphabetically touch upon the fragile realities of life and relationships. A tinge of humour ensures that we shoulder our yoke with elegance. Reminiscing yester years we anticipate tomorrow and take the day&rsquo;s weather in our stride. &nbsp;We build bridges and mend walls criticize success and celebrate falls; resent and forgive receive and give till we reach the last page; only to realize that we are just like books in a library some open some unread.</p><p>The latter section of the book is the author&rsquo;s impression on Limerick poetry. A form of traditional humourous lighthearted verse tweaked to a different tune.&nbsp;</p>
