Characterization of 24-D Herbicides by using HPLC Technique

24-D is a widely used herbicide that controls broadleaf weeds that has been used as a pesticide since the 1940s. It is used in many places including turf lawns rights-of-way aquatic sites forestry sites and a variety of field fruit and vegetable crops. It may also be used to regulate the growth of citrus plants.24-D Amine Selective Post-Emergent Herbicide is an effective post-emergent weed killer used to eliminate broad leaf weeds and brush within most grassy lawns various crop areas and successfully controls unwanted aquatic weeds and trees. 24-D is an herbicide and secondarily a plant growth regulator. Formulations include esters acids and several salts which vary in their chemical properties environmental behavior and to a lesser extent toxicity.
