Characterization of health status of women and children

The world is so big that we can not easily understand what happens around it... after traveling and research makes the difference. Stereotyping is an insane to the world but what should we do about this insanity? My experience deals with west BengaliIndia about health entails the social characteristics of women health seeking behavior family planning child health water sanitation and hygiene practices by women. Why 80% do not have health insurance? 87% have certain reasons why they do not vaccinate their children? Why 80% do not treat drinking water? What are similar studies talking about? What was the drive for the author to do this study all the way from Africa (Rwanda- a country of a thousand hills) to India (west Bengali state) inside the Book.
