Charge Transfer Complexes of Bioactive Piperazines

A charge transfer complex(CTC) is resulted by molecular interaction between electron donor and acceptor.The formation of CTC is noticed by colour change.Its stoichiometry is made through spectrophotometric method.The spectroscopc methods are used to characterise the complex.The thermodynamic study helps us to know themal stability.The CT-DNA binding study reveals the strong intercalative mode of binding of CTC with DNA.The DFT coputational analysis was made to verify the exprimental results.
