C. graduating from Wayland Seminary School and a tour as a Buffalo Soldier places him as a member of the original Black population of 1270 Los Angeles 1900 census. He is publicly recognized as being in the forefront of every social and political effort for the advancement of Afro Americans until his death in 1933.
