Charters of the Cistercian Abbey of Duiske

<p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(55 65 81 1)>This collection of fifty charters consists of land grants gifts correspondence and papal engagements of the Cistercian Order in Ireland starting with the initial Grant being made by Dermot King of Leinster in the late 12th century and continuing onward for some time into the 13th century. These exchanges represent the initial gains of the Anglo-Norman church into medieval Ireland and the establishment of Catholic monastic houses replacing the older Celtic abbeys. </span></p>
