Fourteen years ago Lana's parents were murdered. To this day she doesn't know why. Her guardian is very tight-lipped about the whole thing. She never imagined the way those answers would come knocking on her door in the form of innocently stranded travelers. Only they weren't travelers and there was nothing innocent about the way they found her remote cabin in the rocky mountains. They were there for her. These dangerous visitors claim Lana is a Mùth. An ancient nearly extinct breed of human that can morph into an animal. Could this be why her aunt had hidden her away all these years? Or why her parents were murdered? Well there's one major problem with their story... Lana has never transformed into an animal and she is not going without a fight
