Chasing Shadows

<p>Can an unexpected death and a flight from villains end happily?</p><p>Stunned by the death of her husband Lara's life is threatened by the criminals her husband could identify. Her bodyguard Kurt flees with Lara as she deserts her home and family. Her initial mistrust of the burly bodyguard diminishes the longer they are together but a mix-up leaves Lara vulnerable and the thugs hired by the mob boss swoop. Months later another attempt is made on her life but Kurt's reappearance prevents the attacker from fulfilling his wish.</p><p>With the thugs in jail Kurt decides it would be safe to return home but Lara hires round-the-clock bodyguards as she vows never to be vulnerable again.</p><p>When the one person in the world who can make Lara happy arrives home the small child he has with him causes Lara to question her avoidance of romance for the last five years. Is there an explanation that will satisfy Lara or will the relationship she hoped for disintegrate under a blanket of lies and untruths?</p>
