The application of inorganic chemistry allows us to generate drugs such as the coordination compounds that constitute cisplatin an important antineoplastic or casionepines but where these same coordination compounds serve as important catalysts for the degradation of plastics and tires or the generation of molecules that allow us to save or generate hydrogen a clean source of energy as well as the synthesis of ionic liquids which are intended to be the solvents of the future and both are supported by the principles of green chemistry.Or the laureate molecular machines that recently received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry thanks to their vital importance.The following work represents a joint effort between the authors of each of the chapters and the editor in charge.
