The recipes in this book are Komdi/Chicken recipes. They are divided into five sections in different styles namely stuffed chicken soups starters pulava and curries. The author also narrates a story about how a neighbourhood cat lured by the author's TIKTHI MEJWANI broke into her kitchen. Pushpa Raje due to her immaculate cooking talent has received numerous awards and won various cooking competitions. Her Maharashtrian cooking techniques are simple with the use of coconut cashew dry fruits and peanuts and onions which grow in abundance in the state.
