He Was A Prolific Author Who Released Fourteen Novels Four Novellas Two Essay Anthologies One Drama And Over 300 Short Stories (Published As Twenty Two Collections). A Large Number Of His Writings Have Been Translated Into Various Indian Languages Including Telugu Hindi And Malayalam. His Political Views Were Socialist And He Was Embroiled In Numerous Literary Feuds With Fellow Writers Like As Asokamitran And Vannanilavan. His Works Reflect His Socialist Convictions And The Most Of Them Are About Oppression Of The Oppressed. For His Novel Veril Pazhutha Pala He Received The Tamil Sahitya Akademi Award In 1990. (Lit.
