Child Labour and Rights Issues: A Study of Migrant Labourers

The Indian population still has several vulnerable groups amongst the Scheduled Castes Tribes and Nomadic societies. Vulnerable groups are the most dispossessed socially discriminated exploited deprived ignored and socio-economically very backward as compared to other societies in the country. The authors have observed that the vulnerable groups are marginalised and landless communities who often get seasonal employment in the unorganized sector. The owners and the middlemen often exploit these unfortunate labourers.
